GLEも12年目になりました💦

The concept for GLE 2025 actually goes back five years — to the first time we invited Mr.Alon Yavnai to Japan. We toured Nagasaki, Kurashiki, and Aomori with Latin jazz, and I was deeply impressed by the way he connected with high school students — and of course, by his incredible talent as a pianist.🎹

After the tour, I told him I’d love to invite him again. At that time, I was fascinated by Piazzolla’s music, so I asked, “How about a tango project next time?🤔
To my surprise😳Alon told me that his mother is from Argentina 🇦🇷, and that he’s been performing for years with his friend Hector Del Curtol ,a fourth-generation bandoneon player❣️😍

What an amazing connection! We were all set to plan the next project when the pandemic began 💦— but even through those years, we kept in touch.💪
And now, it’s finally happening this year.

Grateful for the wonderful ties between people — can’t wait to come Alon Yavnai and Hector Del Curto in Japan! ❤️✨

GLE2025の企画の構想は、5年間に遡ります。Alon Yavnai さんをはじめて招聘し、ラテンジャズで長崎、倉敷、青森を訪問。彼の高校生との触れ合い方、何よりも圧倒的なピアニストとしての実力に惚れ込み、もう一度お呼びしたいと思い、当時、ピアソラにハマっていたこともあり、「タンゴっどうですか？」と聞いたら、なんとアロンさんのお母様はアルゼンチン出身🇦🇷💕
4代目バンドネオン奏者のエクトルさんと長年演奏してきた親友。。
「なんというご縁！！！来年お呼びしたいです！」という矢先に、コロナが始まりました。でもその間でも連絡を絶やさず、今年ついにタンゴ＆ジャズツアーを実現いたします。
ご縁に感謝。お二人の来日を心より楽しみにしています♪
